Backfile Digitization
SPi worked with a leading STM publisher to build one of the largest online repositories of STM content for delivery via the publishers’ online portal. The project required imaging, OCR, data entry, proofreading, and conversion of more than 30 million pages of content and is considered to be one of the largest conversion projects undertaken in STM publishing.
Insurance Provider
The engagement involves the processing of image files of records and converting them to machine-readable form. SPi has over 100 FTEs process 6 Million+ records annually. The client requires a 99.5% accuracy level and SPi has been consistently recognized for near-perfect quality and record turnaround periods of less than 24 hours.
American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS)
SPi started working with AAAS on their weekly magazine Science in 2004 by deploying an innovative, all-electronic composition workflow that enabled quick turnaround times of less than 48 hours while meeting high quality and reliability benchmarks
Business Information Provider
SPi searches on state, local, and federal agency sites for notices of bids and awards. New posts are evaluated for match against client requirements and key fields for the matching bids are populated in the client’s database. SPi provides a same-day TAT for this service.
Content Aggregator
SPi supports the real-time flow of data from different sources into client format. Our conversion engineers analyze the requirements of the client/publisher interface and create conversion scripts for automatic conversion. Over 3 million records are processed annually using this workflow.
